Chimney and Fireplace Installation

If you don’t already have a fireplace or chimney in your home, you might think that it is impossible to have one without a considerable cost and major construction in your home. However, did you know that installing a fireplace and chimney is actually a lot more reasonable than you might think? At TN Fireplace & Chimney we can install a factory-built or Class A chimney for you. This would allow you to enjoy an insert, fireplace, or stove in about any room in your home. Let us help you discover how feasible it is to add a new heating appliance to your home.

What is a Class A Chimney?prefabricated chimney against blue sky

A Class A chimney is a metal piping chimney which is designed to make it possible to enjoy a heating appliance, such as an insert, fireplace, or stove, about anywhere in your home. While masonry chimneys require the proper footing, large amounts of space, major home construction, and high construction costs. Class A chimneys are made of relatively light-weight metal piping that is less expensive and less labor-intensive. In fact, the only deconstruction is cutting out a few holes to lead the chimney outside of your home. This makes owning a heating appliance in any room they want a lot more feasible for homeowners.

We want to make sure that the products that we install will last a long time and operate the way you want them too. That is why we only use the highest quality parts from Duravent and Olympia. These chimneys are built to stand the test of time, eliminate fume and airflow issues, and work with either gas or wood stoves and fireplaces.

Why Have A Professional Install It?

Although there are a lot of different “do-it-yourself” tutorials online that tell you how to install Class A chimneys, there are a lot of technical guidelines that must be followed in regards to safety clearances. If these guidelines aren’t followed, it can lead to airflow inefficiencies and even fire hazards. That’s why it is important to only have a Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) certified chimney technician install your new chimney system. A CSIA certification means that a chimney technician has been trained to do the job correctly and with the safety of your household in mind. In Knoxville, we are the only CSIA certified company around, a distinction we are very proud of.
