Inspections

gas insert Inspections should take place at least once a year. They are critical for your appliances and its proper operation. No matter what type of heating appliance you own, you need to make sure all of its components are working properly and safely. The inspections you need differ depending on the unit, but all inspections include an overall inspection of the unit. Our sweeps will look for structural damage, check the heating and fuel source, and a ventilation inspection. We will always be open and honest about what we find, and we will let you know the best path forward for any repairs you may need.

Cleaning

When it comes to heating appliances, the fuel source is going to make a difference in how dirty your unit and ventilation get. Wood and coal burning appliances, especially masonry fireplaces, tend to create more soot and creosote, while gas tends to burn cleaner and produce less. No matter what appliance you own, it is important to schedule a cleaning at least once a year. If you don’t, then you’ll start to run the risk of clogged ventilation, which can then cause carbon monoxide poisoning and fire hazards.

Repair

We know how to repair a wide variety of appliances. At TN Fireplace and Chimney, we have been in the business of repairing and maintaining heating appliances for over a decade. When it comes to heating appliance maintenance, we’ve seen just about everything.
